Winter in Nendaz!

Located at the centre of the one of the biggest ski domains in Europe, the ‘4 Vallées’, Nendaz offers a vast and varied terrain with 412 km of ski runs and 92 ski lifts suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. The area ranges in altitude from 1,400m to 3,330m with most ski runs at over 1,700m. Runs back to the Nendaz resort are equipped with artificial snow canons guaranteeing high quality conditions from mid December to mid April. Over 60 canons serve the 4 Vallées region as a whole.

Nendaz offers a unique learning area for beginners; a frozen lake at the top of Tracouet. A day-care centre is available for children 18 months and above. The summit of Mont-Fort is a favourite destination for the more experienced. Off piste skiing and snowboarding is available for the adventurous, as well as two snow parks located in Nendaz and Verbier.

A wide selection of restaurants provides visitors an opportunity to recharge and refuel in beautiful Alpine surroundings.

There are also plenty of activities for non-skiers, including 100km of marked winter walks and 40km of official snow-shoe tracks approved by Swiss Snowshoes. 15 walking tracks and 6 snow-shoe hikes are based from Nendaz. In winter and summer, non-skiers can also appreciate the panoramic views from Mont-Fort thanks to the advanced lift system.
